Narendra K. Aneja

Narendra K. Aneja has close to 45 years of experience in GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance assignments) and management consultancy. Naren is the Chief Executive of Aneja Associates, India, employing about 350 professionals. His Firm conducts governance studies, risk assessments, management and operational audits of over 200 companies, in India and abroad.

Naren is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, holds the Certified Internal Auditor accreditation and Certification in Risk Management Assurance from The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA and holds an MBA from The Wharton School (1979). He is a Gold Medalist (ICWA), a Tata Scholar and was ranked on the Director’s List at Wharton (1978). 

Naren is a past national President of The Institute of Internal Auditors of India and the Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (ACIIA). Currently he represents IIA on the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) Oversight Council. He has made presentations at numerous international conferences in India, United States, Malaysia, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Thailand and Colombia.
