Corazon Rey

She is the Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of SM Retail, Inc. She brings over 35 years of progressive experience in internal audit, enterprise risk management, controllership, finance, and digital transformation, gained within large-scale retail, wholesale distribution, and professional services organizations.

She is the Corporate Secretary and Treasurer of the Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors.  She served as the 2013 Chairman and President of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines.  She is an active advocate and continuing contributor to the Institute’s professional and governance initiatives.

Cora graduated with a BS in Accountancy, Cum Laude, from the University of Santo Tomas and earned her Certificate in Business Economics from the University of Asia and the Pacific. She is a CPA, Asean CPA, CIA, CRMA, CRISC, and Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (CLSSGB) from the Asian Institute of Management.  She is completing her Master's in Business Administration from the Philippine Christian University.
