Cora is the Senior Vice President and Chief Audit Executive of SM Retail, Inc., with extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, finance and controllership, and digital transformation, across the retail, distribution, and professional service sectors.

She currently serves as Secretary and Treasurer for Fiscal Years 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 and was Chairperson and President of the Institute of Internal Auditors Philippines (IIA Philippines) in 2013. She remains an active advocate of the profession through her leadership, governance, and capacity-building contributions.
A sought-after speaker and panelist, Cora regularly shares insights on risk management, governance, internal controls, internal auditing, and digital transformation, drawing from her experience leading a technology-enabled audit function supported by data analytics.

She graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas and earned her MBA from Philippine Christian University. She is a CPA, ASEAN CPA, CIA, CRMA, CRISC, and a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (CLSSGB).
